EVERY DETAIL COUNTS

Our restoration work is 100% tailored to our clients’ lifestyle and passions.

Pick a Jeep® Brand Model

We will guide you throughout the restoration process – from defining your needs and desires at the beginning of the project to selecting fabrics or the engine for your Jeep.

You probably already know which model you want to restore: the one tied to a family story, or the one tied to a childhood memory maybe.

In the Full Size category, there are three types of Jeep brand models:

Jeep Grand Wagoneer

Luxurious and forerunner of the modern SUV, it has 4 doors and a legendary exterior wood paneling.

Jeep Cherokee Chief

Less common, this sports model only has 2 doors. It stands out with wide track axles and its suspension is higher and firmer. It also has beautiful wing extensions.

Jeep J-truck

Less common, this utility model only has 2 doors and long bed. It stands out with wide track axles and its suspension is higher and firmer. It also has beautiful wing extensions.

Motorization

The objective of VIGILANTE is to offer engines that are much more performant than the original ones (the carburated 5.9 Liter 8 cylinder or inline 6 engines). The goal is to get as much reliability and power as the high-end Sport SUVs that are currently found in todays market .

392 SRT HEMI comes standard. Optional engine configurations with increaded power are available.

Transmission

All that power – ranging from 485 HP to 1000 HP – is channeled through 6-speed manual or 4 speed automatic gearboxes that are designed and adapted to HEMI engines.

We recommend the 4 speed automatic for this build but other transmissions are available. Manual or automatic? You pick.

Four-wheel drive

For the VIGILANTE line, we chose to maintain the four-wheel-drive mode of operation. That’s why, to best distribute the high power of the HEMI engine, we selected an Advance Adapters Atlas-II type of reinforced transfer case.

Axles

The axles are the last part of the kinetic chain, and we wanted axles in accordance with Jeep’s legacy for our VIGILANTE line. The obvious choice for us are the DANA 60 and DANA 44 type from Currie Enterprises: these new axles are the standard of reference in the axles’ market for both their sturdiness and their reliability.

Long travel suspension and powerful brakes.

EIBACH coils and adjustable FOX RACING 2.0 shock absorbers have replaced the original leaf springs suspension used on Full-Size Jeeps.

More acceleration requires more braking power. The drum/disc combination originally found on Grand Wagoneers was functional but completey outdated. That’s why we replaced it with four huge slotted/drilled/vented discs that can withstand high temperatures. The firm grip is provided by BAER 6-piston calipers. This combination is installed on all VIGILANTE Jeeps.

Wheels.

We custom make our wheels for each line of vehicles. Not only does this allow for better braking; it also gives the Jeep a modern and robust look that better aligns with its performances.

Pick Outside Colors

Picking the color of your Jeep is an important decision and 2 options are available: either go with original shades based on our archives, or pick one of 200 colors we have available.

Pick Inside Colors & Materials

The Jeep interiors of Full Size models are very rich and many variants and interior finishes were created between 1964 and 1991.

Almost the entire interior is in one single dominant color – which contrasts with European or Asian cars.

So first, you will need to pick the main color for the vehicle interior, and then, pick the various elements tied to that hue: leathers, fabrics, patterns and carpets.

Pick Exterior Finishes & Get a 3D Preview

Once you have picked the model, the exterior color, and the interior color and elements, the next step is to pick exterior finishes. Throughout the 40 years of existence of these Full Size Jeeps, many finishes were made available.

All of these finishes can be reproduced:  paneling, grilles, wheels, rear-view mirrors and bumpers.

Finally, to confirm all the choices made (model, colors, and finishes), we offer a realistic 3D preview of what the Jeep would look like, so you can make sure all elements work well with each other and meet your needs before the restoration work gets kicked off.

Special Requests

If you have special requests for your restoration, don’t hesitate: we are able to analyze all requests through modeling – Here for example when testing the installation of a V10 engine in the engine bay.
