SOVEREIGN OF THE HIGHLANDS.
At 9,000 feet, in the heart of Telluride, experience the ultimate union of a 1988 icon's analog soul and the elite engineering of the 21st century.
A native legend, sublimed without compromise.
Long before the modern automotive industry attempted to dress up rustic, military-derived utility vehicles with synthetic leather and touchscreen consoles, the Grand Wagoneer was born a king. Originally envisioned by the legendary industrial designer Brooks Stevens, it defined the relaxed, upscale elegance of the American elite.
For the 2026 Telluride Autumn Classic, Vigilante invites you to rediscover this native legend, completely reimagined. Stripped of its past mechanical limitations, built upon our proprietary CAD-engineered, fully boxed chassis developed in collaboration with Roadster Shop, and driven by a modern Mopar HEMI powertrain, the Vigilante Grand Wagoneer ignores the thin mountain air to offer nothing but the pure, unadulterated poetry of the drive.
The alpine sovereigns: sown to conquer the heights
Throughout the Telluride Autumn Classic (September 24–27, 2026), we are opening a select number of private slots to experience the modern composure and unbridled performance of our creations on Telluride's high-clearance mountain roads. Meet the two bespoke commissions available for our exclusive Sovereign Ascent Sessions.
The Vigilante Grand Wagoneer
Powertrain: 392 HEMI V8 Supercharged Hellcat Redeye (810 HP)
Transmission: Performance Automatic
Underpinnings: Proprietary boxed 4-link Roadster Shop Chassis & Fox 2.0 dampers
The definitive "Old Money" family icon, completely re-engineered. Our Colorado Red Grand Wagoneer chokes the thin 9,000-foot air of the San Juan Mountains to deliver a commanding, effortless drive. Built upon our exclusive CAD-developed chassis, it delivers a "magic carpet" ride with one-handed ease and cathedral-like cabin serenity, even on Colorado's most demanding mountain passes.
The 1975 Vigilante
Cherokee S
Powertrain: 392 SRT-8 HEMI V8 (485 HP)
Transmission: Tremec 6-speed Manual
Interior: Bespoke "Floral Sand" Orange Hides
The bold, athletic spirit of the 1970s narrow-track legend met with elite modern dynamics. Finished in a gorgeous two-tone Brittany Blue and Glacier White, this unique commission pairs the raw, mechanical joy of an engaging 6-speed manual and a twin-stick Atlas II transfer case with 485 horsepower. Inside, the cabin is an ergonomic sanctuary featuring a stunning, historically inspired flower pattern hand-embossed into our premium Italian leather. Vintage vibe, modern drive.
A sanctuary for the senses
Natural Shearling Carpets - Step onto 28 millimeters of pure, organic warmth. Sourced from the same elite shearling grade utilized by Rolls-Royce and Bentley, our natural sheepskin carpeting creates an ultra-plush barrier against the mountain chill.
Supple Giles Leather - We refuse the industry standard of synthetic vinyl-leather blends. Every surface of the cabin—from the seats to the dashboard and door cards—is hand-tailored in exquisite, Italian-sourced full-grain hides.
Acoustic Serenity - Luxury begins with what you do not hear. Our advanced, multi-layer thermal and acoustic dampening system completely seals the floorboards, firewall, and doors, creating a quiet haven of cathedral-like silence at highway speeds.
Elevated "Woody" Aesthetics - We preserved the historic, Old Money aesthetic of the classic wood-grain trim, but replaced the vintage vinyl sheets with ultra-durable, marine-grade composite materials designed to withstand UV rays and time without ever fading or peeling.
